The only noise for miles was the trickle of the glistening stream, the sweet song of the mornings birds and the movement of the wind along the few patches of lush, green grass. All that I could see was the melting slush of winters snow, the jaggedness of the snow-caped mountains and the rising of the sun, revealing the beauty of spring arriving. The warmth was so inviting on my skin. My brother and I haven't lived here long. Here I felt free, alive and the healthiest I've ever been. But our lives was not always this nice.
